Midwest Level 4 Champion / Sportsmanship Champion

Congratulations to Rohith Koneru who won the Midwest Level 4 Boys 18s Championships in Rockford, Michigan.  He also won the Sportsmanship Award.  He was unseeded and defeated the 1 and 2 seeds. Jonathan Zhuravel got third place, winning the playoff 10-6 in the 3rd set.

Team Work Makes the Dream Work – WTT Midwest Champs

Congratulations to the RCC 18s team who won the World Team Tennis Midwest Section Championships over the weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  The team, which was made up of, Paige Kompa Zoey Weil, Alex Cash, Robert Cash, Jonathan Zhuravel and Jack Dabek, advanced to the WTT National Championships in San Diego in July.  The team defeated Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.  This is the 1st…

Latuchie Tournament Champion

Congratulations to the Page Brothers for reaching the finals and Bryce Page for winning the Latuchie Tournament last weekend in Stowe Ohio.  Reece defeated the 1 seed to reach the finals.

USTA Closed Regional Champion

Congratulations to Robert Cash for winning the Boys 16s singles USTA Closed Regional Tournament in Dayton.  Robert defeated the 6 and 2 seeds in route to the finals, and won the final 6-1 6-0.  He also reached the Doubles Final with Nathan Jose.

National Selection Tournament Finalists

Congratulations to Arya Dudipala and Maddie Atway for reaching the Finals of the Girls 12s National Selection Tournament in Grand Rapids, Mi. They won 9-7 in the semifinals before losing 8-6 in the finals to the 1 and 2 seeds in Singles.
