About

Tennis Facility

Our tennis facility is unsurpassed in the area. Our 10 Novacrylic tennis courts are arranged in three separate bays with spacious viewing lounges. Our courts have a true, medium speed surface for superior playability for players of all levels. Our LED indirect lighting from Sports Interior provides award winning illumination … clearly the best in town.

Programs

The Club offers many and varied programs for the beginner to the highly competitive player in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. We arrange groups so each person may enjoy tennis at his or her own skill level. We use the USTA / NTRP national rating scale to determine proficiency. This assures a compatible game at this club, as well as at any club in the country. A wide variety of programs include organized leagues, USTA interclub competition, mixed doubles at night, and an early bird special. Many of our members prefer to arrange their own games; however, if you need assistance, we will be happy to help you find a compatible group.

Professionals

Our skilled professionals teach both private and group lessons using the latest teaching techniques. They provide the best instruction in the area for the novice, intermediate and advanced player. Let them help you become a better tennis player!

Our Beginning

The Racquet Club was built by John and Jeanne Hendrix in 1971 with the goal of creating the best indoor tennis facility available. Originally opened with eight tennis courts, improvements over the years have created an unparalleled indoor facility with ten tennis courts and five racquetball courts. Whether you are a newcomer or a founding member, we feel this is your club and we are here to serve you. We offer varied and innovative programs in tennis, racquetball, and walleyball. As a family owned business, we strive to create a pleasant, clean, well maintained facility. Our professional and knowledgeable staff is eager to assist you. We are proud of our club, its reputation for excellence, and its members. We hope you feel the same and enjoy our facility.
