Tennis Facility
Our tennis facility is unsurpassed in the area. Our 10 Novacrylic tennis courts are arranged in three separate bays with spacious viewing lounges. Our courts have a true, medium speed surface for superior playability for players of all levels. Our Abolite indirect lighting provides award winning illumination … clearly the best in town.
Programs
The Club offers many and varied programs for the beginner to the highly competitive player in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. We arrange groups so each person may enjoy tennis at his or her own skill level. We use the USTA / NTRP national rating scale to determine proficiency. This assures a compatible game at this club, as well as at any club in the country. A wide variety of programs include organized leagues, USTA interclub competition, mixed doubles at night, and an early bird special. Many of our members prefer to arrange their own games; however, if you need assistance, we will be happy to help you find a compatible group.
Professionals
Our skilled professionals teach both private and group lessons using the latest teaching techniques. They provide the best instruction in the area for the novice, intermediate and advanced player. Let them help you become a better tennis player!
Racquetball Facility
The club has five Terstep panel racquetball courts, including two with glassed-in viewing. A pleasant adjoining lounge affords a relaxing atmosphere before and after competition.
Safety
Eye guards and wrist straps are required at all times. Black soled shoes and black racquetballs are prohibited.
Wallyball
Fast paced and easy to learn, essentially, Wallyball is volleyball on a racquetball court. The Club provides all playing equipment. Reservations are made the same as for racquetball. This game is great for parties. Game rules are available at the front desk.
Information Reservations
Seasonal / Permanent courts
We offer seasonal tennis and racquetball reservations (37 weeks) which ensures the same court each week at a reduced court fee. The permanent court time commits the member for that court reservation for the entire indoor season. Permanent court time may be offered for sale at the request of the member. If it is sold, the member will not be billed. Seasonal courts may be booked at any time during the year for the remainder of the season.
One Time Only Courts
One time only court reservations may be made up to seven days in advance. There will be no charge for reserved court time if cancellations are received at least 24 hours in advance. “No shows” or court time cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at full court rate. We will make every effort to sell court time available due to cancellation within 24 hours. If it is sold, member will not be billed.
Locker Rooms
The Club provides locker rooms for members and their guests, complete with towel service, and amenities. A lock for daily locker use may be obtained at no charge by presenting your car keys or drivers license at the front desk. Please use only club provided locks on the lockers. All other locks are subject to removal at the members expense. There are a number of lockers available for rent for the season. Large lockers are $50/year, small lockers are $25/year.
Payment of Fees
Payments may be made through monthly in-house billing, cash, or personal check. Returned checks will be subject to an $35 charge. Monthly billing payments are due upon receipt. The Club provides a supervised play room for children ages 12 months to 7 years. (The Club will not be responsible for changing diapers.) Child care is available from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, opening day until the middle of May. The fee is $4 per child per visit for members and $6 per child per visit for non-members. Children under 13 must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times. We find that unsupervised or unattended children of any age can be a disturbance and distraction to other members. No child may go onto the courts except to play tennis or racquetball. Children under 10 years may not use the tennis or racquetball courts unless accompanied by an adult.

Our Beginning
The Racquet Club was built by John and Jeanne Hendrix in 1970 with the goal of creating the best indoor tennis facility available. Originally opened with eight tennis courts, improvements over the years have created an unparalleled indoor facility with ten tennis courts and five racquetball courts. Whether you are a newcomer or a founding member, we feel this is your club and we are here to serve you. We offer varied and innovative programs in tennis, racquetball, and walleyball. As a family owned business, we strive to create a pleasant, clean, well maintained facility. Our professional and knowledgeable staff is eager to assist you. We are proud of our club, its reputation for excellence, and its members. We hope you feel the same and enjoy our facility.
